Using raw concrete and natural stone materials and opening up into 1600m2 lot with lots of green—including a 200-year-old olive tree—the home exemplifies clean, modern living.

In the center of the garden, there's a magnificent turquoise pool surrounded by an area to rest and sunbathe. Lounge poolside, cook simple Spanish meals in the fully-equipped, modern farmhouse kitchen, or explore the famous coastline and coves nearby.

Additional features

There is a platform just 200 meters from the house, where you can swim or paddle surf (the property also includes a few SUP boards). Enjoy the private pool and terraces with views, plus a barbecue. You will also have a washer and dryer, air conditioning and free parking on premises. Internet and TV are included. The property has a smoke detector and fire extinguisher.

Around

The property is located on the south-east coast of Menorca, Cap d’en Font, where there are very few hotels, creating an ideal setting to really unwind in. Menorca is a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve, and you’ll want to get out and see the symbiosis of natural beauty and wildlife here. Explore the famous nearby coves and beaches: a few that the host recommends are Cueva d'en Xoroi, Puerto de Mahón and Calo Blanc. There are also scuba and water sports centers nearby for rentals and excursions.

For architecture and history lovers, take a 45-minute drive west to Ciutadella Old Town to see the stunning, Gothic-style Menorca Cathedral and the Castle of San Nicolas. Closer to home, there is the charming town of San Lluis, or the island capital of Mahón - there, consider a visit to the Museum of Menorca, housed in a former 17th-century convent and a gorgeous example of the Baroque style. 

Gastronomy lovers should order traditional dishes like the lobster stew or stuffed eggplant, along with some Mahón cheese and a pomada – a cocktail of lemonade and locally made gin.
