A contemporary installation comprised of two separate residences, this complex has eye-catching scale and personality. Set into the Vendicari Nature Preserve on the southeast corner of Sicily, the house sits in perfect seclusion and privacy in a vast wild landscape.
The adobe construction and soft exterior angles lend an almost primitive quality to the silhouettes while the interiors remain sleek and serene. The space ebbs and flows throughout the three main structures creating a spacious and breezy environment.
Each of the spaces opens wide with slide-away walls to the interior courtyards, gardens, and terraces. The open plan layout, interesting shapes and stark bleached interiors are punctuated by very minimalist decor that lets the architecture shine.
With a total of four bedrooms and three baths, the house accommodates up to 10 people between the two villas. They can be rented separately or together for family getaways. You'll have two fully equipped kitchens that can serve large groups for dining alfresco in the gardens as well as a BBQ for summer nights under the thatched pergola.
There's a rooftop terrace that affords some of the best views of the nature preserve and for stargazing. Mature olive, fig, and citrus groves surround the property along with lush native gardens while the oversized pool is a refreshing luxury.
This property consists of two residences that are most often booked together. Please inquire about the availability of the smaller units in low season.
