Located in the West Didsbury neighborhood of Manchester, the cottage is a rebuild of old outbuildings from when they were part of a farm yard and has been reproduced and transformed into a chic mews cottage that has great independent style and personality. Tucked away in a quiet section of the neighborhood, the house is a peaceful retreat, but within reach of all the action.

Redesigned by the architect owner, the long linear structure is comprised of brick construction and rustic charm and is bright and spacious, with open vaulted ceilings in the main space, exposed yorkstone floors and antique French tile. Beautifully appointed, the interiors have been polished with subtle modern fixtures and finishes and comfy refinement. 

The open-plan living and dining room share the ground floor with the large gourmet kitchen, and the two bright and relaxing bedrooms (master upstairs and double downstairs) that can sleep up to four guests. Furnished and decorated with eclectic decor and antiques, a collection of original works of modern art, and clever detail, you can feel the affection and personal connection the owner has to it.

Just 15 minutes from the city center, the suburb of West Didsbury is a fashionable and trendy neighborhood with some of the city's top restaurants as well as an eclectic mix of bars, shops and lovely parks and waterways. 

Downtown Manchester is surrounded by wonderful country houses and the cultural center features art galleries, museums and the best shopping in Trafford Centre and Salford Quays. The North west regions are great for day trips with The Lake District, North Wales, Yorkshire, Liverpool, Chester, Leeds, York, Blackpool, Dales and the Peak District all within a couple of hours drive.
