Located in the heart of the Medina, this traditional riad is a serene and sophisticated home that honors its traditional roots and architectural style while infusing it with understated contemporary refinement.  

Designed to create private and open interior courtyard and gallery spaces, the structural composition employs a narrow wraparound profile to create a defined flow in and around the home with recessed living areas orbiting around the interior courtyard on a compact vertical footprint.      

The classic adobe features are paired with a cool neutral palette with polished concrete, colorful tile and a simple but colorful mix of authentic Moroccan and custom designer furnishings and decor.   

The ground floor living and dining areas are bright and cozy with a fireplace and doors out to the courtyard. The two double bedrooms include one en-suite and one shared bath as well as a reading room that can sleep one during the summer months.

The inward focus and proportions make the courtyard the calm and cool central lounging and dining area, while the outdoor loggia features a balcony lounge. The spacious and private rooftop terrace allows for sunbathing, lounging and great skyview dining.

AROUND 

Centered directly in the heart of the Medina at the end of a quiet derb, the riad has labyrinth access allowing you to explore the city as a local and make the shopping in the souks, markets and cafes a real adventure! It's a five-minute walk to the Place des Epices and a few minutes further to the Place Jemaa el Fna. The nearby Atlas Mountains are ideal for day trips. 

The three-hour drive to the Atlantic coast is worth the trip for the Unesco World Heritage Site of El Jadida, a fortified former Portuguese colony that features both western and eastern influence. The laid-back beach town of Essaouira with sandy-colored ramparts, whitewashed avenues, French-style piazzas and fishing port are just south of the iconic city of Casablanca.
