We have always liked Sayulita, and we love the colors of Mexico. This villa has a great palapa on the top of the house to take in the views. A very comfortable and simple design.
Set on a hill in the charming tropical town of Sayulita, overlooking the beautiful Pacific coastline of Mexico, Casa Dos Chicos is a designer vacation home available for rent year round.
This villa on the Riviera Nayarit, with 360-degree views and its own lush garden, features four beautifully decorated suites, a swimming pool, a treetop plunge pool with ocean views, and a Mexican-style open-air living area which includes a rooftop living room and kitchen/dining room dramatically linked by a bridge.
This one-of-kind property has views not only of the ocean and coastline but also of the lush foothills of the Sierra Madre and the energetic town of Sayulita which surrounds it.
Each of the colorful accommodations has its own bathroom with shower, king size bed, fan, and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. All rooms share views of the walled garden, pool, town, and surrounding hills. The house and grounds provide a private retreat high above the town and the sea, which at the same time is only a short walk to all the local charm Sayulita has to offer.
This 3,000-square-foot home, which can sleep up to 10, offers the best of both worlds. It is at once your own hideaway and a gateway to the delightful town of Sayulita, known for its languid pace, smiling attitude, and happy-go-lucky approach to life.
AROUND
Sayulita is a small town on the Riviera Nayarit, about 30 minutes north of the airport in Puerto Vallarta, reached via the lush foothills of the Sierra Madre.
Originally discovered by surfers who fell for its waves, it also became home to tourists wanting to get away from busier resorts. Today it's a laid-back beach town, free of chain hotels and restaurants, with cobbled streets, taco stands, fruit vendors, galleries and surf shops, as well as traditional Mexican craft boutiques.
Sayulita is known for its variety of sandy beaches, which are great for exploring. The nearby towns of Puerto Vallarta and San Pancho are worth day trips. Other recommended activities include surfing, whale watching (November to June), fishing, snorkelling, kayaking, horseback riding, trekking through the jungle, canopy tours, and mountain biking.
