This classic Alexander is newly renovated and updated for modern life with reverence for Bill Krisel’s original design. With style influences from Charles and Ray Eames' California residence as well as a modern Scandinavian-inspired palette of pale neutrals and wood textures, the home comes together as an earthy modern residence.
The eat-in kitchen features Heath tile, Terrazzo countertops and walls of glass overlooking the pool where you can enjoy meals from the vintage Cherner dining set. The open floor plan lounge room provides relaxed living space with garden and mountain views. There’s comfy beds in all three bedrooms with memory foam mattresses, cotton and Marimekko bedding.
The master has a king and its own bath, the middle bedroom a queen, and the third has two twins both with a shared main bath. The main bathroom is spa style with Heath tile, Terrazzo floors, and custom-built cabinetry made to emulate the original design.
The pool can be heated for your arrival and you can fire up the infrared gas grill and BBQ for poolside entertaining with private mountain and desert views.

Just minutes from the hustle of downtown Palm Springs, the house is ideally situated close to the city center. Further afield, the San Jacinto Mountains rise above the desert floor and are lined with miles of hiking trails at a cooler elevation. Joshua Tree, Indian Canyon, and Palm Canyon are also within driving distance of the city for rural getaways.
