A Summer Getaway In Denmark
When winter recedes and the weather warms, this vacation home for rent in Denmark is the ideal escape. Simple, modern and designed for carefree days on the shore, it's a laid-back retreat for summer getaways.
Located along the northernmost shores of Denmark outside of the coastal town of Gilleleje, this home is a modern, family-friendly escape designed for summer fun.
Just a few minutes from the beach, the house is enclosed within a private garden and outfitted with all of the tools for relaxing holidays.
Designed in a U-shape, the one-story structure is composed of walls of glass facing the gardens with a large wrap-around terrace for dining out. Painted a dramatic black on the outside, the interiors are bright and airy with an open plan living and dining area situated around a double sided fireplace.
There are two double bedrooms each with access to the terrace and one bath with direct access to a full size sauna. The gardens are grassy and private with a spa and outside shower for apres plage.

The house is a five-minute drive to the 14th-century fishing village of Gilleleje. Well preserved and full of local character, the town's quaint streets are populated with traditional thatched houses, ancient architecture and a bustling harbor with a clutch of restaurants and shops and a string of beaches. Copenhagen is an hour south.
