While in Montpellier, don’t miss the medieval center or Ecusson, where a  network of narrow alleyways, elegant mansions and stately commercial buildings makes for an ideal walking tour of the pedestrian-only Rue de la Loge where you can peruse the antiques and craft shops and stroll the nearby port.
