Fashioned from a recently remodeled historic building, this vacation home rental in Munich is located in the center of the city and consists of four cool guest rooms for a private holiday with family and friends. Casual but vibrant and stylish, the uniquely designed spaces were reimagined in 2017 as a modern guesthouse that preserves the original character of the building while instilling a contemporary context in line with the city's vibrant personality.
Working in collaboration with Kraterfrajan Architects, the spaces were lightened and simplified, creating room for both convivial common spaces and cozy independent spaces including reading corners and private terraces. Each of the four rooms can accommodate two, with two fully equipped bathrooms shared by all guests.
Old and new design classics are paired with handcrafted and contemporary furnishings and minimalist decor to create an authentic and unique atmosphere. There's a fully-equipped common kitchen stocked with complimentary beer and beverages and a private, green terrace and courtyard.
This is a unique concept that gives guests the opportunity to get in touch with the city in an intimate and modern guest house concept.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Wifi throughout, cable TV, stereo system, board games, bicycles for guests use, shared kitchen with coffee bar and beer fridge (€2). Child beds upon request.
AROUND
As Bavaria's capital, Munich embraces both its past as well as its popular modern identity. From the old town center with its medieval and 17th-century remnants clustered around the ancient marketplace of Marienplatz and the Englisch Garden, to its reputation as a modern tech, commerce, arts and culture destination, the city is a fascinating mix of contradictions.
The Isar River cuts through the center of town and is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel while the Theresienwiese's famous Oktoberfest is just minutes away where every year the beer flows freely. The famous Rathaus-Glockenspiel attracts tourists twice daily re-enacting 16th-century stories with its lovely procession and chimes. The area around the hotel is surrounded by excellent restaurants, bars, cafés, boutiques and galleries with world class museums and cultural destinations throughout the city and accessible from the nearby train stop.
