Set on a hill above the vineyards of the Valpolicella region, a pair of 17th-century farmhouses overlooks panoramic views of the valleys and the mountains on the horizon.
Discovered 20 years ago by natives Mara and Filippo, the property was divided into two separate residences with one housing the pair's private home and the other transformed into a pair of charming individual suites connected by a clever underground tunnel.
Carefully and lovingly restored over many years, the ancient character of the exteriors has been left undisturbed and gives way to artfully restored interiors that are stylish and modern with a relaxing country feel.
Each of the two spacious suites occupies one whole floor and is equipped with living areas, double bedrooms, full baths and kitchenette facilities for limited self catering. The first floor suite is bright and airy and benefits from banks of windows with stone stairs leading to the courtyard and gardens, while the second suite has a more intimate feel. Both feature a stylish selection of one-of-a-kind items and furnishings with contemporary and vintage pieces mixed with modern amenities.
At the base of the stairs, a small lounge is available to guests from 8am to 1pm and is an ideal place to enjoy a coffee. Lush and full of flowers in Spring, the property also has a private hydrotherapy plunge pool where you can relax, enjoy the wine and the views (see notes for restrictions on use).

VALPOLICELLA'S HISTORIC RICHES & LUSH WINE REGIONS
Just 20 minutes outside of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Verona, the Valpolicella region famed for its wine and beautiful trio of lush green valleys of Marano, Negrar and Fumane has remained largely unspoiled by tourism. Many of the finest vineyards are within a ten-minute drive as are the area's picturesque medieval villages and grand villas. Lake Garda is a half-hour east and is the largest in all of Italy.
Surrounded by the three regions of Lombardy, Trentino Alto-Adige, and the Veneto, each has distinctive appeal. The nearby Aquardens thermal park is a vast spa complex of mineral-rich lagoons, hot tubs and indoor and outdoor pools and there are plenty of walking and hiking areas closer to home where you'll discover verdant meadows and waterfalls.
