Casa do Largo is an authentic Portuguese house on a picturesque square in Silves, a village that blends past and present to create its own unique atmosphere. This beautiful Villa was built around 1890 next to a small white church called "Igreja Nossa Senhora dos Martires". Thick walls of clay, small windows, and shutters ensured that the house stayed cool during hot days.
The house has been completely renovated and transformed by studioarte Architecture & Design in 2014. The architects who transformed the house in a very stylish holiday home, call it now the "Pearl of Silves".
The property can accommodate up to 6 guests. Three rooms each offering a different experience, a modern living room, a beautiful patio that fills the kitchen and living room with light and a huge rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi where you can relax and enjoy the view.
With beautiful beaches just 15km away, shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance you will be able to live the authentic Portuguese experience.

Situated along the Arade river, Silves is one of the oldest and most historically significant cities of the Algarve. From the ancient Moorish castle and 12th-century cathedral to the great cafes and outdoor markets, the village is compact and walkable to take it all in.
This is also a great spot from which to explore the coast, the countryside and the Monchique mountain from where you'll have a view from the highest point in the Algarve. Or switch gears and make the short hop over to Lagos for a vibrant bustling town awash in surfers and great food and nightlife.
