Facing the morning sunrise, with the rhythmic sounds of the sea outside, the apartment pairs some of the 20th century's most influential modernist icons and artisans with the natural beauty of the southeastern coastline.

Facing the morning sunrise, with the rhythmic sounds of the sea outside, the apartment pairs some of the 20th century's most influential modernist icons and artisans with the natural beauty of the southeastern coastline.
Designed in 1972 by Tenerife-born architect Luis Cabrera (who studied with Le Corbusier), this luxury beach house rental in Tenerife is a celebrated example of 20th-century design.
Rising above the northeastern shores of Playa Chica at the foot of the Anaga mountains, the striking Cubist structure is in stark but harmonious contrast to the rugged and wild coastline.
Chic and minimalist, the interiors designed by architect Olga Perez have been curated with a selection of vintage pieces from luminaries such as Le Corbusier, Eames, and Arne Jacobsen, along with colorful handcrafted pieces that play off the crisp white palette.
The bright and breezy open-plan living area opens out to the ocean-facing terrace, offering amazing views of the beach below. There is a Scandanavian style sofa, recessed bunkbeds for overflow sleeping space, and a dining space that seats four, along with a sleek, modern kitchen.
The separate bedroom maintains the calm simple vibe that runs throughout the apartment and is designed as a haven of relaxation and includes direct access to the terrace.
There is a communal garden and terrace area below with a BBQ, outdoor showers, and direct access to the soft black sand beach.
Sunny and private, the terrace is the spot to catch the sunrise over coffee and soak in the spectacular views.
TENERIFE'S NORTHEAST SHORES
Just below the Anaga mountains along the rural northeastern shores, Playa Chica is one of a handful of excellent area beaches and is used exclusively by the residents of the building so you'll have relatively private access to yourself.
Neighboring Las Gaviotas beach, famous as one of several nudist beaches on the island, lies a few minutes south and features a laid back friendly vibe, beautiful black sands, and a chill beach bar.
Further south just outside of the capital, in San Andres, is Playa de las Teresitas. One of the island's most popular, its golden sands are dotted with palms and the waters are calm year-round.
For hikers, the Anaga mountains feature an extensive network of trails to explore, which you can reach through Igueste de San Andrés.
The vibrant port town and capital, Santa Cruz, is just a fifteen-minute drive south. Colorful, historic, and rich with culture, its grand, colonial architecture, leafy green spaces, iconic Auditorio, and excellent cuisine set against the gorgeous backdrop of the mountains and harbor is not to be missed.
Home to many celebrations throughout the year, the island plays host to the largest Carnaval outside of Brazil in February with partygoers in colorful costumes, parades, music, and dancing that goes for days.
