Perched on a mountain slope, this bright, open-plan cabin, created by interior designer Sandra Dominguez Pazos and her husband, journalist Nicolás Falcioni, boasts panoramic views of the Patagonian countryside. But it's the playful interior that we really love.

Notes | The house is located on a steep mountain road. A small front-wheel drive car is adequate, but chains or snow tires are required if there is snow. There is no public transit. The owners speak Spanish and basic English, and live locally. |
This home is the property owner’s residence when guests aren’t staying, and they ask that visitors are respectful of this. Precautions should be taken to avoid encounters with local wildlife such as deer, foxes, wild boar and even wild cats. Food and garbage should not be left outside unattended. Fire safety is very important when using the fire ring, wood stove, and BBQ. This is a non-smoking house, but smoking is permitted in the backyard if waste is disposed of responsibly.
