As 2024 draws to a close, we're looking forward to another 12 months of travel. To that end, we asked the Boutique team to select homes that are must-visits for 2025. From Brazil's Bahian coast to the Scottish Highlands, from mid-century in the desert to rammed earth in the jungle, here are the results.

Casa Bonita
"Faraway beach destinations are a favorite of mine, and Trancoso on the Bahian coast is somewhere I've wanted to visit for a while. This home feels low key and relaxed in spirit while also being turned up on style and comfort—I love the flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces, and imagine the doors flung open for the length of the stay."

The Desert Wave
"I have a soft spot for a great story, and when it's combined with exceptional design credentials, even better. This mid-century home in the California desert is not only visually playful and innovative, but it also tells the story of three architects (and one eccentric musician) over the course of several decades. Its hosts are launching some exciting extensions to the space in the new year, and I can't wait to see how they turn out."
- Roshan, managing editor
Achioté
"Rammed earth is my jam. I love Achioté's striated, ancient inner earth look—like those sand 'painting' boxes I angled around as a kid come to life."
- Rebecca, writer
La Maison H
"I love the brutalist and symmetrical form of architecture at La Maison H. I also feel like the Lot is an overlooked tourism destination that is about to have a moment. Its rugged beauty and medieval villages make it a place for both nature and history buffs. And like all great French regions, its wines (Cahors region) and produce, available in villages all over the department, make for gastronomic pleasures."
- Marc, CEO
Casa Ayehualco
"The materials this home is built from feel like they represent Mexico well. Its living roof and the home's landscaping, along with the modern design, epitomize the country's roots and current direction."
- Kris, customer success manager
Villa Peduzzi
"I typically don't get to throw around words like 'cinematic' or 'breathtaking' when I book my vacations. So, why not splurge on a villa with the best views overlooking Lake Como?"
- Johnny, director of sales
Casa Duna
"I love this house’s stunning clean design that allows you to focus on the beauty of life’s simple pleasures. It looks like the perfect escape for slow afternoons, starry nights, and hours of uninterrupted reading—a true retreat from the chaos of everyday life. Picture starting the day with coffee and a view, a hammock and a good book, and a refreshing swim. Throw in a laid-back lunch, a siesta, and evenings under the stars with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore playing my favorite lullaby. Pure bliss."
- Ana, VP of finance
Hergest Lee
"This house feels like a great place to tune out of modern life. I have a vision of loading up a 4x4 (which I do not own) with everything I'd need to survive for a week here: provisions to make soup, loads of red wine, some dense reading, maybe an extra blanket. The drive from London is four hours, just enough time to get through an audio book."
- Caitlin, product manager
Le Château de Thauvenay
"I am feeling fancy and French for 2025. I would stay here with 46 of my best friends, transported to nobler times and a life of leisure."

Creag na h-iolaire
"I love this house for its perfect combination of nature, design and breathtaking views. Every detail seems thoughtfully crafted to bring the outside in, making it feel both cozy and connected to nature."

Rumah Hujan
"I am absolutely captivated by the idea of immersing myself in this private oasis of breathtaking natural beauty, perfectly complemented by the stunning architecture. What makes this home even more special to me is that it was envisioned and brought to life entirely by its architect Maximilian Jencquel, with the help of skilled Indonesian artisans who used traditional techniques passed down through generations."
- Simone, curator & onboarding manager
Masseria Lamacoppa
"Masseria Lamacoppa, set in Puglia’s countryside, reveals a different side of the region in the shoulder seasons. As the air cools and the light softens, it becomes a place for reflection and creativity—where the familiar feels new and personal."
- Pascal, VP-business development

The Weaving House
"When I first learned about this home, a whole new world opened up to me about a mid-century architectural design enclave hidden in this corner of Florida. The designer in me was fascinated to learn that mid-century modernist homes by the Sarasota School of Architecture are sprawling across this area. And then to see this beautifully preserved mid-century treasure really makes me want to go there. The terrazzo floor, the paneled walls, the clean lines, the large frameless window panels, the exterior details and finishes, the seamlessness between the interior and outdoor terrace and pool made my design-loving heart skip a beat. I love that this home takes you back in time instantly. And it's still beautifully intact, and the vintage furnishings are all in perfect balance. A dream destination for any mid-century architectural design lover."
