This architectural cluster along the Pelion coast of Skiathos is made up of two sets of homes, each one comprised of three newly-constructed, bleached stone vacation villas. Brought to us by the award-winning team at 3harchitects, the villas come in three- or four-bedroom sizes suited for six to eight guests, respectively. Each home features a sleek blend of contemporary, gallery-like styling, with abundant glass and modern geometry, and low-key, waterfront living, with easygoing furnishings and barefoot elegance.

Each has a fully-equipped kitchen and indoor/outdoor dining zones, but there is also a shared outdoor barbecue area for entertaining—creating multiple options for gathering to eat, drink and stargaze. The villas are built across multiple levels, and both floorplans feature breezy, open-air spaces where gleaming doors and windows draw residents outside towards shaded pergolas, cushioned chaises and generous individual swimming pools. All villas boast unobstructed views across the luxurious surrounding vegetation down to the rippling coastline below.

AROUND

Set 260m above sea level, these six villas for rent in Greece occupy a privileged spot above the coast of Pilion, with its sandy and pebbly beaches. Located in Skiathos’s northwestern region, the landscape known as Kechria is famed for its hidden beaches and clear-day views out to Olympus and Parnassos Mountain. Skiathos is blessed with more than 60 beaches, and its capital, Skiathos town (6km away), features a lively harbor, tile-roofed, whitewashed homes dripping with flowers, and a happening night life with plenty of music and dancing. The hit film Mamma Mia! was filmed in part on location on Skiathos, and the isle is undeniably photogenic, with its dense woods, limpid waters and rugged coastline. A hikers’ paradise, it offers 25 trails and walking paths that crisscross the island’s interior and connect its many beaches.
