Aeolian Views and Private Sea Access
Casa Bea was meticulously shaped by its owner, creating a soothing Mediterranean atmosphere, blending varied natural textures with an airy, light-filled color palette. The home is designed to capture the spectacular views of the sea and the adjacent Vulcano Island. Its gathering point is the main kitchen and diner, a spacious area with a table for six. A separate, well-stocked breakfast kitchen provides a more intimate setting, featuring stone walls and a small table for three. The cozy sitting room, furnished with two couches, has a set of doors that open directly to the pool terrace.
Outside, a covered deck provides the main stage for alfresco dining, set against panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian waters and Vulcano's black sands. The outdoor area is also equipped with solariums and lounging furniture. Guests can use the private pool or follow the home's access pathway down to the sparkling sea.

Around
This villa for rent in Sicily is served by the nearby town of Lipari, which gives its name to the island and offers an abundance of local bars, restaurants and shops. Take some time to visit the municipal museum, which displays archeological finds unearthed across the Aeolian islands, or take a tour of the town’s focal point, its historic citadel. Fortified during the Sicilian Arab period, a charming cathedral is to be found in the complex which is dedicated to the island’s patron, Saint Bartholemew, and whose relics are interred within. While meandering through the small streets and alleyways of the old town, sample some of the local Malvasia, a sweet dessert wine, which is a source of pride among Sicilians.
Lipari is the most populous of the Aeolian islands and the eponymous town functions as the archipelago's principal transport hub. For avid island-hoppers, a ferry service runs from Lipari to the islands of Vulcano, Stromboli, Salina, Alicudi and Filicudi. We strongly recommend hiking the volcanic uplands of Stromboli from a safe distance or taking an evening boat trip to experience its specular lava flows and gas-emiting fumaroles.
There is a road to the pebbled shore directly from the villa, which takes about 10 minutes on foot. Spiaggia Valle Muria offers glistening turquoise waters and is just a short 3km west of Lipari town.
Location
Lipari, Sicily, Italy. Nearest airport: Catania Fontanarossa Airport on the east coast and Falcone e Borsellino Airport in Palermo on the northwest coast. The villa can be reached by car or helicopter, as it has an airstrip for landing and take-off.
