The Enduring Appeal of the Valle D'Itria
Located at the end of the vineyard road among peaceful olive groves and fruit trees orchards, this vacation home rental in Italy transports you to simpler times. A small cluster of three dwellings, the familiar charms of the traditional trulli and lamia of Puglia are an enduring part of the region.
Constructed from limestone with their signature pyramidal, domed or conical roofs made from corbelled limestone slabs, the interiors are simply decorated in earthy neutrals with exposed stone, and little alcoves and archways that lend it an almost sculptural feel. The main house is composed of a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a large picture window, and the original fireplace, and one en suite double bedroom with a view of the swimming pool.
The trullo houses one large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and the petite Lamietta, one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower.
Outside there is a vast shaded patio, with alfresco living and dining areas, and big brick-stone barbecue for summer dining. The swimming pool is a cooling oasis from the heat and the rooftop terrace offers up the sunset views.
Note: A 200 Euro cleaning fee must be paid on site in addition to a 2 Euro per person per day tourist tax.
