Around
The villa is located in Tulum’s Hotel Zone, on a white sand beach with crystal clear waters, walking distance from all the top attractions. This area of the Riviera Maya is famed for its manicured bohemian vibe. There are dozens of boutique resorts, upscale restaurants and beachfront bars, and the area remains lush and natural while being close to exclusive shops, dining and nightlife options.
Once a sleepy village sought after for its remarkable Mayan archeological ruins and the UNESCO-protected Sian Ka’an and Parque Nacional Tulum, Tulum is now a diner’s delight and favorite destination for beachgoers who like their sand and surf with a side of massage, yoga, and wellness. Dense jungle vegetation extends inland from the sea, offering a classic tropical vacation destination with dining under swaying palms and an active outdoor nightlife. In addition to dining, boutique shopping and clubbing, there are dozens of wellness and self-care spas and yoga studios and massage therapists. Nestled into the jungle, the area is also known for its underground cenotes, some veritable underwater caves, others deep blue green holes, all inland waters revered by the ancient Mayans and their ancestors as links to the underworld. The Mesoamerican Reef, the northern hemisphere’s largest, runs along the coast, making for great scuba diving and snorkeling. The Reserva de la Biosfera Sian Ka’an is full of cenotes as well as diverse flora and fauna unique to the area.
