A Townhouse in the Historic Center of Estepona
Estepona has spent years becoming the Costa del Sol's most liveable old town, with fewer yachts and more flower pots. Casa Luna de Miel sits at the centre of that, on Calle Antero, a cobbled street known for its cascading floral displays. The house was stripped back to its historic structure and rebuilt with natural materials, bespoke joinery, and a palette of warm limestone and oak.
The house is built around a sequence of quiet contrasts. Andalusian bones mean thick whitewashed walls, exposed timber ceiling beams, and hand-laid zellige-adjacent tiles. The furnishings pull in the opposite direction, with restrained Scandinavian forms, linen upholstery, and raw oak joinery.
The ground floor opens into a living and dining area furnished with one-of-a-kind objects and a selection of original art. The kitchen is tailored to measure,w ith marble countertop, Siemens appliances, Nespresso, and a dining table. A guest WC sits off the corridor. Each suite has linen-upholstered beds, soft lighting, generous storage, and an en-suite bathroom hand-built and finished with AJEN botanical products in refillable glass bottles. The Gira smart home system manages lighting, climate, and additional features across all spaces.
Outside are three terraces, each with a distinct character. The ground-floor patio is shaded and still, anchored by a small waterfall. The first-floor terrace catches the morning light, making it good for breakfast, but it's even better for a slow dinner as it softens into evening. The rooftop is the full picture: Estepona's terracotta rooflines, the bell tower of Santa María de los Remedios, the Sierra Bermeja behind and, on clear days, a streak of sea.
