Roman Elegance on Piazza di Spagna
In a prestigious 18th-century palazzo overlooking the Spanish Steps, Casa Naman is a sanctuary of refined Roman living, designed by Milanese studio 13.1 Architecture & Decor. It is made up of three bespoke apartments, with a panoramic spa terrace inspired by otium, the ancient Roman art of leisure, and a dedicated house manager is on site to oversee all stays.
Drawing on a family legacy in hospitality and haute couture, the owners sought to weave an international vision into Rome's historic fabric. Architects Filippo Fiora and Federico Sigali have orchestrated a respectful dialogue with the past, creating distinct stylistic identities for each apartment inspired by Roman mythology, while maintaining a cohesive, sophisticated whole within the palazzo.
The design balances grand materials like red porphyry columns and Calacatta Gold marble with polished steel and soft Dedar fabrics. The interiors are a curated conversation between Roman-inspired statuary, historic tapestries, and contemporary Italian furnishings.
The Janus suite includes a private terrace directly overlooking Piazza di Spagna. Crowning the palazzo is the shared Otium terrace, an exclusive rooftop space with 360-degree views.
Layout
The palazzo houses three distinct apartments that can be booked separately. Janus is a 93-square-meter one-bedroom suite for two. Aeneas is a larger two-bedroom, two-bath apartment for four, which can be connected to Janus. Vesta is a bright two-bedroom retreat for four. All bedrooms feature king beds that can be configured as twins. This collection of vacation apartments for rent in Rome sleeps up to 10 guests in total.
