Built across two levels, this top-floor apartment’s urban loft atmosphere comes from its floor-to-ceiling windows and floating staircase, plus its greenery-wrapped bedroom terrace and rooftop garden suspended high above the bustling streets and leafy trees of hip Condesa.

Lushly insulated and natural, the plant-draped space includes a primary king suite for two upstairs, with an intimate terrace housing a sauna and cold plunge. A rooftop garden stretches beyond, extending the private oasis with flowers and potted plants and a lounge space ideal for sunset happy hours or alfresco dining.

Interiors created in collaboration with Mason Gray Studio include works by local artisans, the simplicity of sleek surfaces and clean lined furnishings, and textured works by São Paulo artist Vinny Olimpio.

Layout

There’s a queen bedroom/bathroom combo downstairs, an open-plan living/dining/kitchen area, as well as a half bathroom. The apartment's lower level studio/office space is equipped with a daybed that can be converted into a third, queen-sized bedroom as needed.

Mexico City’s vibrant Condesa neighborhood is a CDMX favorite, filled with elegant Art Deco buildings and other early 20th-century residences. The area offers plenty of green in the urban atmosphere, with the Parque Mexico and Parque Espana located within the quarter and dozens of flowering squares lined with benches and surrounded by cafes, cocktail bars, art galleries and boutiques. Art Deco architecture and Art Nouveau mansions line most streets, giving the area a European feel, and the neighborhood’s abundance of green spaces has made it THE neighborhood for dog-walkers and runners, with most parks having canine zones to welcome the pooches. Sidewalk cafes and restaurants join lower key taquerias and trendy boutiques along the neighborhood’s busy streets, and the area fills with young professionals by night, who gather at bars and nightclubs. A great base for exploring greater Mexico City, Condesa has bohemian origins—this section of the city rose in fame as the preferred stomping grounds of artists and intellectuals during the Mexican Revolution. Avenida Amsterdam has a leafy median at its center, and the street is a great spot to take in the area’s classic architecture.
