This bright and spacious 17th-century apartment is perfectly situated for getting to know the city of Nice. Located in the heart of Le Vieux Nice (Old Town), it overlooks the grand Prefecture Palace and is a three-minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais, the city's famous walkway along the Mediterranean.

Elegant and sophisticated, it takes up the second floor of a traditional "niçois" and, with its three bedrooms, is unusually large for the neighborhood. It was recently renovated, and combines contemporary luxury with high ceilings, tall windows with original wooden shutters, wooden floors and traditional French furnishings. Interiors are classically simple, in cool hues, with splashes of baroque in the chandeliers, lamps and mirrors.  

The bathrooms feature elaborate tiling and large, ornate mirrors. The three bedrooms are decorated Provencal style, each with its own character and a different-sized bed - one king, one queen and two twins that can be combined, making this a great vacation home for rent in Nice for families or groups of friends.

AROUND 

The property is located in Nice's Old Town, which is the historical heart of the city. It's a pedestrian neighborhood that's great for exploring as it's full of local cafes, bars, shops and galleries. The owners recommend shopping for food in the local markets and bringing it home to cook in the gourmet kitchen.

The apartment is also close to the seafront, where guests can stroll the romantic Promenade des Anglais, or dip their toes into the Mediterranean. The tramway stops near the apartment, making exploring Nice (and beyond) very easy.
