Slow Living in Grand Style in Scenic South Tyrol
Panoramic terraces extend from this pair of luxuriously appointed apartments high above the jagged mountain peaks of the South Tyrol. Panoramic Apartments Created for Luxuriously Languorous Living
Set high above the Merano Valley’s striking peaks in South Tyrol, this pair of stylish apartments creates the perfect setting for slowing down and living the good life. Inspirational views extend from the suites’ stunning terraces, and the property’s culinary heritage as a starred dining destination ensures pro-quality kitchen spaces—veritable playgrounds for gastronomes—and private dining areas with panoramic backdrops.
Daily breakfast and small tasting dishes are part of the package, and the minimalist modern spaces were created entirely by local artisans who reused and recycled materials and created interiors exclusively from eco-certified products such as wood and sleek granite. Views of Merano and the surrounding mountains offer guests a giant exhalation, and the suites were designed for rejuvenation and rest, the Sky Suite with a soaking tub overlooking pastoral apple fields and the Dining Suite with its professional kitchen for creating stellar meals for panoramic enjoyment.
Experiences
The property offers private dining, derived from its Cuilinaria im Farmerkreuz past incarnation, serving exclusive private lunches or dinners for six to 10 persons helmed by Chef Manfred with service/wine pairings by Sommelier Elisabeth. The menu is an Alps to Sea culinary journey, and Chef Manfred earned a Michelin star in 2017 for his quality, creativity and passion.

Around
Located high above the Merano Valley, among the striking peaks of South Tyrol, this pair of sleekly modern mountain flats stretches over a panoramic region that’s a destination for outdoor recreation lovers. It's located in Dorf Tirol, about 40 minutes from Bozen and approximately four hours from Milan or two hours from Innsbruck.
The property makes a great starting point for hiking, cycling and forest bathing, and it also offers a base for enjoying Dorf Tirol’s cultural scene, from sightseeing at castles and botanical gardens to museum visits, theatrical performances and music festivals. Culinary tourism is at a premium in the region, too, with vineyard tours and farm-to-table restaurants tucked into the mountainous landscapes. Trauttmansdorff Castle with its vast garden, the Ötzi Museum in Bolzano, the Messner Mountain Museum and local vineyards are easy drives from the scenic property. The area offers more than 50 kilometers of cycle paths, and there are cable cars to the surrounding mountain plateaus to accommodate hikers.
Bolzano is the capital of Italy’s northernmost region of South Tyrol, a gateway to the Dolomites Mountains of the Italian Alps. This is outdoor recreation country at its finest, with sharp peaks, lush valleys, glacial lakes and acres upon acres of ski terrain—a mountain lover’s dreamscape. The area is unique culturally, too, tied to the Mediterranean and the Alpine, to Italy and Germany/Austria, with a range of architectural styles and a mix of traditional languages.
The city of Bolzano is set in a basin where the Sarntal, Eisacktal and Adige valleys join, home to ancient mountain passages such as the Via Claudia Agusta that travels over Reschenpass and the Brenner Route. Skiers based in Bolzano can hit the slopes in Val Gardena, Plan de Corones/Kronplatz, and the Alta Badia region.
