A Solar-Powered Villa with Sea Views in Menorca
El Puente Al Amor sits above Son Bou beach in Torre Solí Nou, a four-bedroom villa designed by Amie Mercer of London-based Studio Mercy as a place for slow living. The 1,750-square-meter grounds run entirely on solar power. An 11-meter saltwater pool and a hot-and-cold barrel plunge anchor the outdoor space, and 180° sea views reach across every living and garden area. Concierge, bi-daily housekeeping, and private chef services are available on request.
What we love
We love how this Menorcan villa feels less like a sterile rental and more like a soulful home that’s been stripped back to its essentials. Think tactile stone and light that hits differently across those terrazzo floors. The real magic lies in the balance. It’s completely off-grid and eco-conscious, yet it still feels incredibly sophisticated with its carefully selected art and those wide-open views of the Balearic Sea. It’s that rare spot where you get the total privacy of a villa but with a human touch, like having a concierge who actually knows the island's secrets and a layout that begs for long, lazy dinners with friends.
Layout
El Puente Al Amor sleeps up to eight guests. Steps lead to a single-level living area with panoramic views from the terraces. It features four bedrooms, each configured with king beds that can be coverted to twins (to accommodate diverse groups). There are three bathrooms. The master suite has its own bathroom, as does the annex suite. The natural and green suites share a bathroom. The suites offer direct terrace access.
