With seven suites and numerous bright and spacious living areas, the all-inclusive Villa Ezzahra is ideal for families or groups traveling together with enough room to spread out and relax. Decorated in the style of a traditional riad with a mix of Moroccan fabrics, mosaics and textiles as well important works by Moroccan artists and hand-picked treasures from around the world, the entire property was created with authenticity and luxury in mind.
The seven suites are elegantly furnished and individually decorated with a chic mix of locally handcrafted furnishings, decor and finishes, and each has a private terrace and fireplace.
A private chef is on hand to prepare and serve a delicious menu of local and classic Mediterranean cuisine served in the elegant dining room or in the gardens. A large poolside Berber tent is the spot for evening drinks in the gardens and there are cozy alcoves, lounging areas and shaded terraces tucked away throughout the property. The on-site spa has its own hammam and two private treatment rooms where guests can choose from a range of beauty treatments and there's a separate games room along with two screening rooms.
Villa Alkhozama takes its name from the Arabic word for lavender, and is surrounded in ancient olive trees and extensive gardens. The house was designed by one of Morocco’s most renowned architects, Karim el Achak, from Agence Architecture Associati of Marrakech, with bespoke furniture and lighting by Colefax and Fowler’s design director, Philip Hooper. It has two en-suite double bedrooms, and its own 12m pool.
Named after the Arabic word for olive, Villa Azzaytouna stands in 5,000sqm of gardens filled with lavender, orange blossom, bougainvillea and olive trees. The interiors have been designed by Philip Hooper from Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler, and include souk finds like Berber benches, wooden carved doors, antique pots and Beni Ourain rugs. The villa has a 12.8m pool with loungers and Indian daybeds, a large sunken berber tent, a dining terrace overlooking the pool, a sitting/dining room with open fire and a domed ceiling with bespoke Moroccan bauble lights. All three bedrooms have private terraces and open fires. Two of the rooms have private plunge pools, which are lit at night, and large daybeds on the terrace.
