Discover the Argentine Wine Route in a Finca among the Andes
Just south of Mendoza, this rural villa for rent in Argentina is situated along the famed route known for its red wines and farms. Surrounded in vines and walnut groves, with the snow-capped Andes as a backdrop, this home remains a working vineyard and organic farm, and hums along at the slow, quiet pace of rural life.
The colonial-style house is set back from the road in an under-the-radar location and comes with plenty of roomy spaces inside and out for a large group or family to share.
The home's rural charm gives it a welcoming warmth that permeates the living spaces. Laid out in a U-shape, around the central gardens and pool, the living, dining and kitchen areas all open out completely. There are three bedrooms with two single beds each, one bunk room, and one with four singles that are great for kids or friends to share. The house sleeps 10 guests comfortably, with four optional additional beds and a crib available.
The outdoor kitchen includes a wood-fired oven and dining area, and there is a shaded outdoor lounge under a pergola where you can relax with a glass of the local Malbec and some tapas, or whip up some traditional Argentine Asado.
There's also a large kitchen garden that you can use, as well as beautiful lavender and rosemary fields among row after row of vines and the snow-capped Andes always in the distance.

Ruta del Vino
This area along the Argentine Wine Route, or Ruta del Vino, is sometimes referred to as the Napa of Argentina, and with a stay at Finca La Gracia you are ideally placed to enjoy the many bodegas and wineries on the tasting route. There are adjacent vineyards and smaller labels just minutes away, including Zuccardi, Trapiche and Dona Paula, as well as many others in the Cuyo Valley and up to Mendoza.
The nearby Lulunta Valley where Tupungato, one of the highest mountains in the Americas rises through the middle, is a great stop for rugged Andean exploration, hiking, or horseback riding.
Mendoza is a modern city that fits in the colonial beauty of its past with a vibrant contemporary culture. Laid out around five main plazas, including the main hub of Plaza Independencia, the city's wide, leafy boulevards are a great place to stroll, enjoy the world-class cuisine which is of course paired with the region's best wines.
Make a stop at the subterranean Museo Municipal de Arte Moderno under the plaza, to explore the modern and contemporary works created locally and from around the world.

See what our community is saying about Finca La Gracia.
Our family visited Finca La Gracia to start the new year. It was the perfect setting to relax, reconnect, reflect, align, indulge, and dream. A true treat for nature lovers, wine enthusiasts, and humble families that will engage all the senses. The house sits at the center of the property, centralized by a courtyard - its surrounding hallways are lined by hammocks, a library, four bedrooms, a pool, kitchen and common area. Each day was an open-air story with windows and doors unlatched to the gardens and land of planted lavender, herbs, grape vines and fruit trees (needless to say the aromas were delightful)! Set at the foot of the Andes, we enjoyed panoramic views of the sunrise and sunsets cascading the valley and majestic mountains with distant snowcaps. With hardly any light pollution the night sky was filled with stars and passing satellites in view. There was silence to sleep to, accompanied only by the sound of a breeze, crickets, or a distant storm rumbling, a natural lullaby. We’d rise with the sun and the sound of buzzing bees, an owl or clinking of glasses being prepared across the house. Lucas, the on-site manager passionate in hospitality, was a key piece to our perfect stay. He made us feel at home, including breakfast, lunch, and dinners for a small additional cost. For each meal time he created a lovely table scape in a new space around the house, with fresh ingredients, music and shared conversation. To explore a bit of the Mendoza wine region of Uco we went on a walk around the property, hike into the mountains, breathtaking horseback ride and visited the neighboring vineyards. We didn’t want our stay to come to an end and are already looking forward to returning or attempting to recreate some of the experienced qualities!
We stayed more than 10 days with my family and friends. We got to know many of the best wineries in Mendoza. The house is very well located. Sunrise and sunset surrounded by the mountains, the walnut trees and the vineyards has been a dream for my family and me. Excellent experience. The place is a paradise, every detail an experience. The attention was spectacular, Lucas the manager was impeccable. He always helps us with everything we need. I had the opportunity to meet its owners, Gracia and Gustavo, who have been very warm, immensely friendly and excellent treatment. Of course we will repeat. The house is beautiful!!
