Surrounded in vines and walnut groves, with the jaw-dropping snow-capped Andes as a backdrop, this home remains a working vineyard and organic farm, and hums along at the slow, quiet, pace of rural life.
The colonial-style house is set back from the road in an under-the-radar location and comes with plenty of roomy spaces inside and out for a large group or family to share.
The home's rural charm gives it a welcoming warmth that permeates the living spaces. Laid out in a U-shape, around the central gardens and pool, the living, dining and kitchen areas all open out completely. There are three bedrooms with two single beds each, one bunk room, and one with four singles that are great for kids or friends to share. The house sleeps 10 comfortably, with four optional additional beds and a crib avaialble.
The outdoor kitchen includes a wood-fired oven and dining area and there is a shaded outdoor lounge under a pergola where you can relax with a glass of the local Malbec and some tapas, or whip up some traditional Argentine Asado.
There's also a large kitchen garden that you can use, as well as beautiful lavender and rosemary fields among row after row of vines and the snow-capped Andes always in the distance.

ARGENTINA'S WINE ROUTE
Sometimes referred to as the Napa of Argentina, you are ideally placed to enjoy the many bodegas and wineries on a tasting route, and there are adjacent vineyards and smaller labels just minutes away including Zuccardi, Trapiche and Dona Paula as well as many others in the Cuyo Valley and up to Mendoza.
The nearby Lulunta Valley where Tupungato, one of the highest mountains in the Americas rises through the middle, is a great stop for rugged Andean exploration, hiking, or horseback riding.
Mendoza is a modern city that fits in the colonial beauty of its past with a vibrant contemporary culture. Laid out around five main plazas, including the main hub of Plaza Independencia, the city's wide, leafy boulevards are a great place to stroll, partake in the world-class cuisine which is of course paired with the regions best wines.
Make a stop at the subterranean Museo Municipal de Arte Moderno under the plaza, to explore the modern and contemporary works created locally and from around the world.
