This traditional 19th-century building has been reimagined and lightly updated with a back-to-basics approach. Architect José Carlos Cruz set out to rehabilitate these once overlooked apartments and bring them into the 21st century with a light and modern restoration.

The straightforward renovation honors the original structural features while expanding the space and modernizing its personality. Easy laid-back style and comforts combined with vintage-contemporary furnishings, décor, and finishes are mixed with the warm wood floors and a selection of original pieces from the owners' personal art collection.

A total of three apartments are spread throughout the building and each is completely self-contained with a kitchenette and full baths. You can choose from a one-bedroom that sleeps two, a two-bedroom that sleeps four or a three-bedroom that sleeps up to six. Each is spacious and bright and two come with dining terraces that overlook the best neighborhood in Tomar.
