A Love Letter to California Living
This thoughtfully transformed villa in the heart of West Hollywood brings together architecture, art and landscape in one fluid, harmonious whole. Designed by the founders of DoubleGreen Landscaping, celebrated for crafting some of California’s most exquisite gardens, this home was reimagined from a modern box into a design-forward sanctuary, just steps from the Design District and Beverly Hills.
Interiors were envisioned in collaboration with Los Angeles–based architect Jessie Kelly, known for her refined work with mid-century homes across the region. The result is a richly tactile palette of real stone, marble, and wood—no synthetics, no compromises—paired with vintage finds and custom pieces by local designers. Every detail, from the curated global art collection to the sun-soaked terraces, reflects a deep, personal connection to beauty and place.
Each of the four en-suite bedrooms comes with its own outdoor terrace or balcony, making the home equally suited for families or small groups of friends. The open-plan chef’s kitchen flows seamlessly into indoor-outdoor living spaces, while amenities like a steam room, jacuzzi, and private pool invite you to unwind.
Outside, the "Gem Garden"—lovingly designed by DoubleGreen—feels like a secret world of its own. Bamboo, vines and climbing greenery soften every architectural line, while an edible garden on the upper balcony adds an intimate, grounded touch. Lush, alive, and ever-evolving, the landscape is an extension of the home’s soul.
Though surrounded by some of the city's best cafes, restaurants and shops, the villa is gated, secure and completely private—a place to experience Los Angeles through a truly design-driven lens.
