Placed within the forested land with a private beach along the river, this contemporary home is immersed in complete privacy and designed with style, function and the scenery in mind. 

The ground floor is expansive and open with an entire facade of glass that slides away to the terrace revealing the best of the landscape and gardens. The main living space includes a large lounge area adjacent to the open-plan kitchen and dining area that seats up to 10 guests. 

Upstairs is the en-suite master and three additional bedrooms that sleep up to nine, with a special room designed just for kids. Awash in cool neutrals and furnished with contemporary decor and natural accents, the house exudes comfort and sophistication and was also designed to new standards of low consumption and environmental sensitivity. The stunning Gorges du Tarn were carved by the river that snakes through the southern region of France just above the historic town of Millau, forging the neighboring Gorges de la Jonte, Causses Noir, Méjean and Sauveterre plateaus. 

A UNESCO site of stunning natural beauty, it encompasses the Parc Naturel Régional des Grands Causses where you'll find the amazing 12th-century Peyrelade Castle and fortress carved from stone overlooking the valley below. 

The nearby medieval villages of Mostuéjouls, Liaucous, Peyreleau and Compeyre are within a short drive and the troglodyte caves of “Entre Deux Monts” are not to be missed. Montpellier city and the Mediterranean coast are within a 90-minute drive south.
