A Luxury Beach House Just Steps From The Sand
This luxury beach house in Hawaii has that wow factor in spades. Immersing you into the shoreline with slide-away walls, you’ll feel like you’re in a boat right on the ocean. With stunning views from every room, the house showcases the amazing natural beauty of the islands to great effect.
Set along the white sand beaches of Oahu’s famous north shore, this luxury beach house in Hawaii is a strikingly modern structure that coexists in eye-catching contrast to the stunning tropical setting.
Built on two levels, the home is constructed of industrial steel beams, Ipe wood and glass with bright and breezy interiors.
The ground floor is an open loft-like space with all-in-one living and dining areas and a large chef’s kitchen with two main walls that slide completely away, enabling the living and outdoor spaces to become one.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms with unique slanted rooflines and large windows showcasing exceptional views of the ocean and the stars at night.
A side deck opens out to a lava rock patio with a grill for dining al fresco, but the large ocean side deck is the place to relax and soak up some sun, watch the seasonal humpback whales and admire the vibrant sunsets.
NORTH SHORES
Oahu’s famed north shore is well known as the surfing capital of the world with its enormous swells that attract the best of the best. The turn of the century sugar plantation town of Haleiwa is at its epicenter and is a State Historic, Cultural and Scenic District with a well-preserved and atmospheric historic center with cafes, bars, galleries and shops.
In the winter months though the area is all about surfing. Starting at Haleiwa and extending for eight miles, the coast will be packed with world-class surfers riding the swells at Banzai Pipeline, Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay.
There’s, of course, plenty of the island nearby and beyond to explore including Laniakea or Turtle Beach where you’ll likely encounter the sweet greenback turtles, Peacock Flats near Mokuleia Beach and Keaena Point for hiking and Waimea Valley Park. Thought to be a place of healing by the local Hawaiians, the 1,800-acre park is home to some of the world’s most unique plant species.
Don’t miss the professional cliff divers who put on a show that is a must-see. Honolulu is just under an hour south.
