A Private Lapland Lakefront Retreat

Inaïa Haven was conceived as a personal response to the profound silence and beauty of its lakeside setting. The design prioritizes a deep connection to the environment, with structures that feel both sheltered and open to the landscape. The retreat operates as a private, exclusive-use property, ensuring every detail, from meals to activities, is handled for its guests.

Inside both homes, the design is one of understated, elemental luxury, with clean lines, warm woods, and a palette drawn from the surrounding nature. Each lodge features a living area with a fireplace, a full kitchen, and a private sauna.

The Haven is set on a private stretch of Lake Inari’s shoreline, offering direct access to the water and surrounding wilderness. The villas are positioned to maximize privacy and views, one facing the open lake and the other nestled by a forest stream. Outdoor terraces provide spaces to sit and absorb the silence, watch for the Aurora Borealis, or enjoy the endless light of the summer’s Midnight Sun.

Layout

The estate sleeps up to 14 guests across two houses. Luna is the larger of the two, sleeping up to eight guests in four bedrooms (three kings and one bunk), with two bathrooms. Lyra is set closer to the open lake, with accommodations for six guests in three bedrooms (two kings and one bunk), with two bathrooms. Both homes have private saunas and spacious living areas. And both can be booked separately.

Experiences

The hosts can arrange a wide range of private, curated activities, from snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter to husky sledding through silent forests. A private chef prepares meals using local ingredients.

Good to know

The estate includes both Villa Lyra and Villa Luna, which are two separate, non-connected houses on the same private property. The nearest airport is Ivalo, a 30-minute drive away, and all transfers are arranged by the host. Given the remote location, a car is not required as all activities and services are provided as part of the experience.
