A Stone and Stucco Monolith
Encased in soaring walls of stone, brick, stucco and Brazilian cedar, then accented by sheets of Cordova limestone, this is a bold statement in a cherished Dallas neighborhood, a conservation district known for its Tudor and Colonial revival homes and open green spaces.
Step inside, and it is clear that this home was made for lingering days and relaxation. Floor-to-ceiling windows filled with exterior greenery create a beautiful contrast with the lighter neutrals and sunlight-drenched interiors. We especially love the clerestories that serve as their own art works, with splashes of oak tree leaves as subjects.
And the spirit of a lively lunch or dinner is always near, with an elite chef's kitchen featuring Viking appliances, plus a separate outdoor cooking center facing the pool and hot tub.

The home's crispness belies the warmth it exudes; comfort and family are always the keywords here. This vacation rental in Dallas has three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. All are suites and have views of the infinity pool which is surrounded by mature oak trees. Relax and spread out in the media room, with its massive 75in TV. There is also a great room and a fully-equipped chef’s kitchen.
The property is fully furnished and includes bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, and a washer and dryer. Please note that there is an additional $150 fee to heat the pool and spa, and housekeeping or private chef are available for an additional charge.
HISTORICAL CHARM AND A SHORT HOP TO DOWNTOWN
With deep roots in agriculture and oil, Dallas has grown into its own as a sophisticated metropolis, with a bustling design district and architectural icons aplenty. One notable must-see structure is the 1959-built Kalita Humphreys Theater, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. And in the Dallas Arts district, within a five-block radius, you can see the "Fabulous Five” buildings, by the likes of I.M. Pei, Norman Foster and Rem Koolhaas.
The house is also just minutes from the Bishop Arts District, revered for its art galleries, a rainbow of ethnic food and cool boutiques, and close to Trinity Groves, a 15-acre entertainment destination with foodie restaurants and Downtown Dallas's dazzling views (10minutes from the home).
