Old-World Charm Meets High-End Comfort
This mansion was reimagined by its owner to be a space for connection and creativity. The 2025 restoration preserved the 1905 structure’s generous volumes while introducing modern comforts and a high-specification kitchen. The design brief focused on fluid movement, culminating in a 120-square-meter glass-roofed reception room that anchors the home.
Fine materials and natural light define the interiors. The heart of the home is a trio of lounges: a cozy TV room, a quiet library, and a bright, glass-roofed salon opening to the dining area. Downstairs, a finished basement provides a dedicated entertainment hub with a bar, movie theater, and a collection of arcade games, pinball, and billiards.
The home is set within 1,200 square meters of private grounds. The outdoor area is designed as a classic jardin à la française, a formal garden defined by symmetry, gravel paths, and manicured greenery. This structured landscape includes a central decorative basin with a fountain and provides private parking for up to four vehicles.
What we love
What we love about this project is that it's an inspiring combination of preserving classic style and grandeur (with its formal French garden and historical façade) and bringing modern design to the interiors. The different tile patterns plus the layering of diverse materials provides a playful yet elegant ambiance. Our favorite is the sun room with the inviting sofa and large dining table, which is perfect for entertaining. We also love the open flow to the inside spaces. It feels like dining and relaxing outdoors but protected from the elements. The playroom and private cinema make this home a perfect gathering space for family reunions and entertaining.
Layout
The 380-square-meter layout flows from the main reception rooms into the professional kitchen. Upstairs, the home provides four double suites and one large dormitory room with six beds, accommodating 14 guests in total. The home includes four full bathrooms. The lower level contains the cinema and games room.
Experiences
This home is designed for in-house entertainment. Guests can host private screenings in the movie theater, enjoy the basement games room with billiards, football, pinball, and an arcade machine, or relax in the library lounge. The property is also available for private events, filming, or photoshoots (rates on request).
Good to know
This is a multi-story historic home with numerous stairs, including access to the basement entertainment area and upper-level bedrooms. The formal garden's basin is decorative, unfenced, and not a swimming pool.
