Created by Dutch designer Richard Krap this luxury boutique hotel in Turkey is a jewel in the heart of the beautifully preserved old town of Antalya’s Kaleici. Built in 1895 as a private villa, the building subsequently became the Italian consulate in the early 20th century and various residences until it was discovered and transformed  by the designer into an intimate guesthouse. Located along the narrow cobbled stone streets, it’s crafted entirely of stone and wood with an old world elegance.

The building has been meticulously restored with seamless modern updates that allow the original craftsmanship and finishes to shine. Inspired by the early Silk Road travelers and colonial style, the interiors are a richly detailed mix of Asian and Western influences and traditional Turkish design. 

Each of the six en-suite guest rooms has its own unique atmosphere, furnishings and beautiful detail.

Outside, the terrace lounge is the spot to relax under the festive umbrellas to enjoy the delicious breakfast served daily and meet new friends.

Located along the Mediterranean known as the Turquoise Coast, the ancient city of Antalya is famous for its golden beaches and classic beauty. Considered the gateway to the Turkish Riviera, the harbor town is a fascinating mix of old and new. The well preserved old city with its narrow winding streets, Ottoman era architecture and magnificent Roman era port is picturesque and atmospheric and easily walkable. 

Alive with energy and history, there are a maze of traditional shops, bazaars, cafes and bars to enjoy as well as a more glamorous scene in nearby Side with it’s yacht filled harbor and resorts. Home to two of Turkey’s most prestigious museums, both the Antalya Muzesi and the Antalya Kültür Sanat of modern and international art are close by. And don’t miss the stunning 2nd century remains of Hadrian’s Gate and Hidirlik Tower overlooking the harbor.
