Set directly along the Adige River in the heart of Verona, this 17th-century former palace houses a uniquely restored apartment suite ideal for two. Developed in collaboration with Milan-based architect Stefania Beltrame, the owners were inspired by their experiences traveling the world exploring some of the most curious and stylish places to stay and wanted to create a unique modern hideaway with vintage appeal.

Working with some of the best local craftsmen, the contemporary custom furnishings are accompanied by original vintage furnishings by Osvaldo Borsani, Silvio Cavatorta, Vittorio Nicolis and Marco Zanuso with luxurious Italian marble, brass and boiserie finishes and gorgeous custom wallpapers by Fornasetti, Cole & Son and Elitis-Soie.

Compact but spaciously laid out, the interiors are divided by glass, curtains and mirrors instead of fixed walls, creating an active space that can be adjusted according to your mood and needs.

The double "bedroom" faces the unique glass bath and shares the open plan space with a small well appointed kitchen with dining for two. The state of the art technology is cleverly integrated with the chic design striking a harmonious balance between style and comfort.

VERONA

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Verona's dramatic, romantic (Romeo and Juliet anyone?) and artistic heritage is a hallmark of thousands of years of history and it shows. Located in the city center along the Adige river, you are just a few minutes to the Roman amphitheater famous for its Opera performances and close to the San Zeno district, a beautiful and ancient area with its stunning Roman Basilica.

The medieval Castelvecchio bridge, Arsenale gardens, and Tower of Lamberti are visible from the apartment and within a short walk. The city is perfectly placed as a base to discover the northernmost regions of Italy including Garda Lake and the surrounding villages.

Just under two hours to Venice, you'll pass through Padua to the east with Milan two hours west and the lake regions of Como just an hour further. North through Trento you can reach the magical scenery of the Dolomites with the famous pink stones. The famous wine-producing valley of Valpolicella is just outside of town with some of the best vintners in the nearby villages of San Pietro Incariano, Fumane and Negrar.
