This vacation home for rent in Portland, Oregon is located in the Alberta Arts District. A brightly-colored wooden house, it’s divided into upper and lower apartments. Low Gear is the lower (yellow) part and sleeps up to seven guests. High Gear is the upper (blue) part and sleeps up to nine. But, if you’re looking for something larger, they can both be rented together, making it a great venue for wedding parties, workshops, business meetings, and other events.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, coffee grinder and blender. The house has radiant floor heat, laundry room, DVD player with satellite/cable TV, and a stereo. A small collection of books and magazines is provided, as well as a few toys, and there’s an outside play area. There is free on-street parking (no reserved space). A pack ‘n’ play and high chair are available if needed.

AROUND

Alberta Street is one of the coolest areas in Portland. It’s lined with galleries, boutiques, several of the city’s best restaurants, and dozens of cafés and nightspots. A wide range of food is covered, from Peruvian to Italian, as well as locally-crafted coffee, beer and ice cream. The apartment is within walking distance of a movie theater, several live music venues, a farmer’s market in the summer months, and an organic food co-op. It’s also within easy reach of downtown Portland.

The owners have arranged coupons for guests to use at local retailers and eateries, including Frock Boutique, Tin Shed, Digs Inside and Out, Mimosa Studios, Mash Tun Brewery, I Am Yoga Bikram Studio, The Wax Skin Spa, Crafty Wonderland.
