Immersed In Portugal's UNESCO Gem Of Sintra
A house rich with family history and traditional period architecture, this villa has been restored to preserve all of its charm and tradition while taking a considerable leap into the modern era. The cobblestone streets, high walls, and slanted and gabled architectural features belie the unexpected restoration within.
Located atop a hill overlooking the heart of one of the oldest Portuguese towns, this home's modern re-imagination is an inspired and creative effort. Merging vintage and contemporary styles, this home is furnished with rare and unique custom-made and original furniture and decor that blends and balances with the eclectic wallpaper.
With five bedrooms all equipped with private en suite modern baths, each room has a unique identity and personality and all include sophisticated and tasteful design. The master suite has its own dining patio with a view to the sea and a private fireplace.
The fully equipped kitchen is available for guest use but your breakfast, tea, and homemade cakes and breads are provided in the price of your room. You can dine in the cafe where locally sourced food is served for all your meals or relax in front of the fire with a good book.
The patio and roof gardens overlook the picturesque town of Sintra, the mountains and the Mediterranean in the distance, reminding you that this home is part of history.
