An Ocean-View Penthouse on Porthmeor Beach
This residence was designed with a single purpose: to celebrate its immediate connection to the Atlantic Ocean. The architectural focus is on volume and light, using an open-plan layout and soaring ceilings to create a space that feels both expansive and calm. Interiors by Belle and Skye complement this vision with a soft, minimalist aesthetic that never distracts from the ever-changing seascape.
The main living area features a deep sectional sofa for watching the tides, as well as a full gourmet kitchen and a bright dining space. A careful selection of modern art add layers of texture and sophistication, creating a space that is both elegant and welcoming for groups and families.
A private terrace extends from the main living area, suspended just above the white sands of Porthmeor Beach. There is another balcony attached to the top-floor bedroom. Both are perfect spaces for enjoying the sea breeze and listening to the waves.
With direct beach access just steps away, the line between the home and the sea is beautifully blurred, inviting early-morning swims or sunset reflections.
What we love
The view! That speaks for itself, but there's also the beach location in St. Ives, which is a creative hub in Cornwall. The design is sophisticated beach style, with the outside mirrored in the interior color palette. Sitting on the sofa watching the sea is the best kind of home cinema you could ask for.
