Designed by internationally-renowned Portuguese architect Pedro Domingos and featured in several architectural and design magazines, this modern installation is a rare beauty that skillfully incorporates parts of the original house design while transforming it into a sleek and contemporary compound.

Set high above the hills of Faro and surrounded by acres of olive groves and peaceful countryside, the bleached structures form a series of interconnected living areas. The sharply defined angles, geometric design elements, and a fresh selective approach to minimalism and simplicity have been gracefully integrated into the rural landscape.

Expansive and bright, with simple understated luxuries and smart sophisticated decor, each of the living areas feature light-filled spaces with large windows and lovely unobstructed views.

The large gourmet kitchen can serve up to eight inside around a central fireplace or al fresco on the terrace overlooking the gardens. With three large bedrooms and two full baths, the house sleeps six comfortably and is family-friendly. Each bedroom features private terrace access with countryside views and soundproof walls for peace and privacy. FARO PROVINCE

The villa is located a few minutes from the picturesque village of Santa Barbara de Nexe in the Algarve, just 50 km from the Spanish border and within a short distance to the coast and downtown Faro.

Seville is just an hour and half away and Lisbon is just over a two hour drive. Locally the town of Loule and the beautiful city of Tavira are within a short drive and the beaches of Almancil are just 20 minutes as is the coastal nature reserve of Rio Formosa. Other points of interest include: Evora, Flor do Crato, Ilha Deserta, Silves, Monchique, Sagres, Troia, Praia da Marinha, Vale do Lobo, and Quinta do Lago.
