A Classic Italian Estate
Built by the current owner’s father and dominating an Umbrian hilltop, this elegant villa for rent in Italy boasts its own vineyard and 65 hectares of verdant valley. An air of nostalgia reigns, making it easy to indulge in a life of leisure around the infinity pool, lounging on a flower-filled terrace, or soaking up the Umbrian sun along a manicured garden path.
Named for the owner’s family, this classic Italian villa makes living a life of leisure the obvious choice. The estate home occupies a hillside in sunny Umbria, set glamorously at the end of a cinematic driveway lined by guardian cypress trees. The ambiance is deliciously rarefied—noble and established, though the villa is more understated and refined than it is gilded or glitzy.
Made up of several structures, it features traditional bedroom suites, independent studios and an adjoining wing with apartment-styled lodgings, all available individually. Generous windows bathe the recently renovated rooms in sunlight, and the interior décor is pure, mostly shades of white, and classically modern. Earth-toned tile floors are topped by cushy sofas and armchairs, area rugs add a carefree elegance, and the overall palette features subtle tones of white, dove, and bone.
The kitchen and dining rooms were created for enjoying leisurely food prep and lingering over meals. Respite is easily found in each of the estate’s six, king-sized bedroom and living suites. Each bedroom features baths and showers and window-covered walls accented by simple solid-color textiles in deep jewel tones. French doors offer views onto the surrounding countryside, and the estate’s stunning infinity pool overlooks the private vineyard and offers 360-degree views of the deep green mountains and valleys.
Outdoor terraces and patios occupy all sides of the villa’s stone exterior, and each one is unique, manicured and harmonious, with topiary-filled urns, vine-clad passageways, and outdoor seating for lounging, contemplating, dining, or luxuriating under the Umbrian sun.

An exclusive helicopter experience services the estate, offering direct-to-the-villa transfers for four passengers from Florence, Rome and Milan, offering the added bonus of a bird's eye aerial tour of the beautiful Umbrian countryside.

Around
Located on a privileged hilltop cul de sac, this villa for rent in Italy dominates a private, rolling, 65-hectare plot with vineyards and panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside. The nearest village is Marsciano, a brickmaking town with stony, fortified structures set in a wide green valley in the region of Umbria.
Umbria is often referred to as Italy’s green heart and is known for its medieval towns, forested hills, and locally-loved capital of Perugia, home of a notable historic palace, university, and art museum. A breadbasket area of Italy, Umbria possesses a rich and diverse gastronomic culture, with grains, foraged mushrooms and truffles, and legumes at the center of its local diet. Recreation opportunities include foraging the forests, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, caving and canyoneering, and all necessary services are available a quick drive from the villa.
