One of Los Angeles’ most famed neighborhoods, funky Venice Beach is known for its lively beachfront promenade and its hip skate parks and workout stations, and of course its sandy, showy stretch of beach. This vacation home rental in Venice Beach is a quick walk away from all the action, but is also located on a dead-end street, meaning there’s minimal traffic, so it’s a calm retreat when it’s time to unwind. 

Named for its charming streets of water like its famous Italian sister city, Venice Beach is surprisingly walkable, with streets showing trim, well-tended residences, cute parks and gardens, and leafy sidewalks along the canals. Loads of cafes, shops and restaurants line the avenues surrounding the home, and bike paths head up and down the coast, where there are abundant opportunities to surf, swim, paddleboard and boat.
