Originally made by French sculptor Jean-Pierre Clemençon for the 1976 exposition “Formes Humaines” at the Rodin Museum in Paris, the artist subsequently decided to build the sculpture into the facade of the house and it remains a unique part of its identity today.

The attic has been transformed into a cozy nest for two under the rustic timbers at the apex of the house with amazing views of Ghent's famous three towers and Gravensteen castle.

Perfectly situated in the historic center of Ghent, near the iconic medieval Gravensteen fortress and castle with plenty of excellent local restuarants, fun shops and beer pubs nearby. It's an intimate but vibrant town with a combination of beautiful medieval history and ancient waterways and a bustling contemporary culture.

The Sint-Baafs Cathedral and Korenmarkt are a also just a short walk and the popular tourist centers of Patershol (the oldest part of the city) and Graslei/Korenlei are just 10 minutes away. The Veldstraat shopping district and the tram which takes you to St. Pieter train station are also within a short walk.
