Climb the stairs through a small doorway to the twin room with exposed beams and picture window. The third bedroom with a double bed, dressing table and built-in desk, is located just across.Village and Rural Life, Punctuated by Outstanding Pubs&#8232;Upper Slaughter is a quiet village in the Cotswolds, built on the two banks of the River Eye. It is set between Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, and within easy reach of Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford.&#8232;Flow into Lower Slaughter, just 1.1 kilometers away, to see another picturesque village with an old mill, stone cottages and the beautiful St. Mary church. Here, the owners recommend a visit to The Slaughters Country Inn, a 15th-century stone pub-turned-five-star hotel.Less than three kilometers from Jasmine Cottage is Bourbon-on-the-Water. Here, you can find The Mousetrap Inn, a B&amp;B and pub known for its ever-changing local ales Bakery o the Water, an artisanal, family-run operation with a café and wonderful pastries, croissants and coffee.
